For the new office and meeting building of the electricity grid operator 50Hertz in Berlin, we were commissioned by the company Hentschke Bau GmbH to realize an exciting project. Our mineral wallpapers were used in the Leaf and Jungle textures – two designs that combine nature and urbanity in a special way.

Our mineral wall cladding was used to create an extraordinary wall design in the new 50Hertz office building in Berlin, combining architecture and nature in a modern way. The handmade structures “Leaf” and “Jungle” create a special atmosphere – sometimes calm and meditative, sometimes powerful and lively.
Each surface is a unique mineral with an authentic feel and natural depth effect. Organic designs such as these in particular can hardly be realized economically and reproducibly using classic microcement spatula technology or conventional exposed concrete. As in-situ concrete, such structures would be extremely complex, difficult and only feasible with a high level of craftsmanship.
